Gosh, I am having fun.

You'll have to go to my other blogs to catch up on all my doings. This little "farm" area is working out great for a nice winter salad garden. Every time it rains I try to put a few more seeds in the ground. Had to remove some cactus, one big one that had been blown over in the monsoons. Yep, there are monsoons in Needles. So far cucumbers, spinach, lettuce, swiss chard, carrots, peas, and beets have sprouted. I'll take a picture in a little while of the peppers and the other patch of swiss chard. Really lush. Need to clear a path to it. The cactus have over grown the path and some of them can really hurt. The soil here is ok it seems, and there is not a lot of competition with weeds so everything is growing great.

I am off to the Friends of the Library meeting.
