This week I'm going to try to get this blog up-to-date, fix up the photos I've already posted, and post some more from around the house and yard.

Desert Fibers Studio is really working out great. Going to actually weave today. My research on textile design is going great, too, and it's a lot of fun. Made my first purchase of fibers for the little "business" on Jan. 1, 2006. It's a start.

Just posted my review of Plan of Attack by Bob Woodward at the Online Book Nook. I am going to have more to say about that book here after I get my thoughts together. The book generated another long list of books to read based on the questions it raised. I'll list them here in a bit. Already, the book has made it easier to understand some of the news items I am seeing. I guess that is a pretty good New Year's resolution: To become more informed in my important responsibility as a citizen of the US and the world. How high-minded that sounds. I hope it doesn't make you all want to ..., well, you know!
