Having just watched the 4 hour plus marathon House Appropriation Committee conference on the Supplemental Appropriations for FY 06 for Iraq and Hurricane Katrina Recovery, (I know it is a mouth full), I thought I would look into my representative Jerry Lewis who chairs the committee.

You could not believe the convoluted appropriations for Border Security coming out of the Defense appropriations, I assume, for Iraq. We give, we take back, the Senate says this way, the House says that way. Still have no clue what they did!
