I decided to make a navy and white quilt for the bedroom rather than getting the one from K-Mart. That way it is something much better and I can pay as I go. Sewing my strips. Just doing a simple nine-patch to get me started. Then I'm cutting patterns for applique pillows and started a quilt that is just an impression from my art studies series. Oh, dear, keep me down. I've decided to do only nine-patch for awhile, so I have already designed two quilts.
From 54-40 or Fight block, this one is called For the Canucks:

From A Dandy, see we're going in ABC order, this one is called Morning Glories on the Trellis:

The yarn came for the bedroom afghan, too. Oh, boy, will I be busy!
The garden seeds are sprouting like crazy and it seems I just put them in the ground. Must be absolutely the right time!
Found these decorations for a nine-patch crocheted afghan. Something to think about.
