Another thing done

I got my application and paperwork all assembled and submitted to Needles Unified School District to sub. Yahoooooooo. It was a little miracle that I found my CBEST results, but I did. I may sub as far away as Parker Dam, so I have to see where that is. That will be fun.

I will be going to the Library again Sat. for a talk about some work folks did for the BLM. Then I'll stay to help out. As soon as the summer reading programs start I will help out on Tues. and Thurs. afternoons.

There are a whole lot of bikers in Laughlin, but I might go on a ride to Topock and Golden Shores this Sunday. That is the first cutoff that looks interesting off the 95. I might check out the Spirit Mountain Casino because the gas was the cheapest there, 2.35.

It is cloudy today and cool. Better get out and plant my flowers. The lawn is starting to show in places.

Have half a bobbin done of the emerald. It will look good in the afghan as an accent. Might pair it with another color for a vest to wear with blue jeans, like a navy blue.
