The Rock House, Needles, California

Here's some pictures I took when I first moved here and used to email my friends. I guess I never posted them, so here goes.

I took this photo so people could see the neat rock wall. Not such good processing and taken in the evening. It's called RFD.

This was taken in the evening, too. And that big cactus is no longer there. It was blown over in the August monsoons. Two big cactus were already blown over when I arrived and this was the third. Then I lost two more because the phone company would not work on the line until they were gone. I liked how the little red, white, and blue welcome sign looked. There are a lot of blue and red little tiles in the mosaics around the rocks. That little sign is still hanging on. It's called Welcome.

These two pillars hold up a little cover at the front door. I have removed the cactus in the background. Just too much cactus. And put in a little lawn. That's where I planted the nice desert tree as a memorial for BJ.

More later.
