It's been a whole week

What a week. I'm trying to finish one project after another. The cactus garden is completely cleaned up. The rocks were all moved into place on the lawn area. The lawn is planted. Organized the binder on Childrens' Literature. Just about finished painting the front door. Just about finished changing to the new heddles on the loom. Warp is already sleyed in the reed, just waiting for the new heddles to come. Resume and cover letter are finished and printed on the new printer. Then I discovered there was a new version of the free weaving software WinWeave. I downloaded that and have been on the computer for hours. Finished off my tri-color cartridge. Hope to try the scanner to post the designs I weave to Desert Fibers. Did a bunch of name drafts and they all turned out so cool. I think I will weave them in Halcyon 8/2, kind of ethnic, and kind of affordable. I believe I will weave every one as a runner. Got to water the lawn. Another couple of cactus are blooming. Need to take pictures of those for color studies. Book on watercolor botanical illustration came. Beautiful. I'm taking photos, although she says not to use them except for reference, I am trying to compose them like a scientific illustration.
There was a really nice talk Sat. at the Library on Bats. Plus the Rock and Mineral Club meets this Tuesday night. How in the world am I going to find time to work, even just part-time!
